I started with a JG M4 that was 130-140 bucks. It worked alright but it still wasn't as good as the G&G combat machine. The M4s for under $100 really aren't worth it, because they typically have lower quality gearboxes and motors. If you get a G&G, such as a CM16, you can't go wrong.

Like many things in life the more you spend the more quality you get. You get what you pay for in airsoft. Could you buy a gun for under $100? Yeah. Would it keep up with all the other guns on the field? Most definitely not. I would recommend just saving up a little bit longer and buying a higher quality gun verses spending less now for a gun that will break after you use it twice.

you could borrow my backup g36. It is adapted to m4 mags, and I have spare midcaps you could use. It is a great gun even for a primary weapon.

I'll be there! P.S. Spidey if you could bring the vest that would be great.
