Well, since myself, Ecthelion, Spidey and Caesar all favored the original patch, let's put it to a vote. I've done some work on the shield itself. Patch #1: Patch #2: Patch #3:

I was thinking that perhaps in the place of the top letters we could put some helmets.

I like the original, but as for these the second choice of patches the second is good because it is similar to the first.

I'd say let's stick away from any modern designs, they just take away from the classic design of unit patches... Usually, when a patch is designed, old military elements are used, swords, knives, shields, etc.

I think Caesar meant greek helmets, Corinthian style...... I like that idea.

Well, most guys said they liked the original patch, but one person said they didn't like the the TF, so were gonna vote on the original... Let's not overcomlicate things.
Besides, that would crowd it, simple is best.

Alright, so I was one of the one's who voted for TF, but if the whole dang team votes against me. Well I'll go with it all.

If you give it a second, it will load. It's basically the same as the first but has "T" and "F" on it for Task Force.
Edit: I know it's kinda late to insert a new option, but I inserted a patch #3, as I thought we should also be voting on no words at all, as many patches (military and airsoft) have no words...

BUMP for patch update^
Also, the new Patch #3 (since it has no words) could be used either vertically, or even horizontally for those who prefer that...

Interesting, but it doesn't look like it is gaining favor very fast.

I would have to say I prefer the 1st one better, but the 2nd is ok too.
