Post here any questions, stories, or new ways to tec your gun.
I will start. I just put my tightbore barrel in my m4 (no thanks to the job that Youtube wonderkid did), and found out how truly easy it is to take apart the m4.
I also had to disassemble one of the mp5 mags that came with the mp5k that I traded Praetor for my Glock 23. You see the mag had been dropped in some mud (not by my end), and had to be cleaned. It was a lot easier than an m4 mag, because there is a small flap on the side which retracts/detracts the spring when putting it all together again. I had fun doing it though.

Welcome to the wonderful world of teching! It gets better... Or worse. Never figured out which it was.

Thanks. But that was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.

I was working on my M4 midcaps. Not only do you need to pull the inner part out, but you also have to take out all the little screws. Swinging the top up, you can get the spring out, at which point you pull it apart and discover a neat little winding track. The goal is to keep this lubricated so that the big spring can move easily. On the first time around, I accidentally launched the spring out along with a ton of bbs I was trying to unjam. The truth is, I made my latest attempt to fix it just now. Dropping silicone oil down the hole, I rammed the inside up and down a few times and filled it up. I gave the bbs and the oil a chance to cover the surfaces, hoping for the best. Now I'll just wait for the game to see.
