I'm just basking in the glory of it... Seriously, the way our team is set up with gear and everything is exactly like it circa. 2009-2012...
Our PCs? x3 CPCs (one is an NCPC though...) x1 JPC x3 EPCs
Army SF PCs? CPCs JPCs EPCs
Usually in SF, the officers and NCOs usually received the most modern PCs (Crye was fresh off the block) and usually the CPC was used more commonly. The lower ranking NCOs (lower sergeants, corporals) and privates still were stuck with the old EPCs. Also, the SF guys from 2005-2009 had privately purchased Troy rails when the DD ones were being issued slow, and when they were promoted, some still kept them (me!). The newer guys still had A1s and some with rails, so it really makes sense that Caesar has an A1. SF are some of the few guys that run AFs. We run AFs almost exclusively. Finally, most SF guys are slowly sifting out of woodies and going to MC, with the senior guys getting it first and the officers getting the really good Crye and Massif stuff (me! And Ajax...)
Face it. Our kits are almost perfectly based off Army SF.

The NCPC is a big exception. I think that what happened was that some Seal up and decided to transfer and hook up with these army guys.

OR SF hired a Navy Lietunenant to come on over and command/train an ODA.

"Lieutenant", Abbot. That kind of work is way above his pay grade. But if he were an admiral who got fed up with his ships, scuttled them, and found a group of SF on the shore, immediately befriending them and offering his services, I'd believe it.

They have SoF guys cross train all the time. The SoF has alot loser rules and regs than normal units...
