Ok! so the whole day went really well. There was a lot of good training, a lot of good teamwork, and really good leadership by (temporary CO) Abbot and Spidey. Thunder was a great medic, and Grizz was a superb scout. We did a bunch of game styles that we thought would be good for training, and really just made up after each round. The best game would have ta be round 4. Green attack, tan on defense. firefights were great, and team movements was so good. Sev's new DMR worked super, and has both rang and power. We all had a blast, and the training went well. Success!
P.S. we missed you Ajax and Sev, but we'll catch you next time eh.

Early on, we figured out how to keep a good group and build great firefights. After the break, leadership went to the wind, as temporary CO's Abbot and Spidey lead the same team, while we had no idea what to do with the other team. We spent more time cranking out game ideas and squad configurations. I liked Spidey's idea of getting the game plan out of the way before hand by say discussing it on the forum. It is an excellent tool if we are serious.

Let me first thank Sev, Caesar, ad Spidey for hosting an amazing game. I really hope we do this again. Planning This is something I think we should improve on. I think next time we need to plan out the games beforehand, then tweak the day of. I liked how we played mostly games we all agreed on, but medic rules seemed to be problematic. I think next time we should have two all-time designated medics for either team. That way they always know they are the medics. Teamwise, I believe Thunder would make an awesome medic for TFP. I Next time, also, we should have more set plans for breakfast and lunch. My watch being off was problematic, as well as some complaints on this end of needing a longer lunch. Next time, an hour and a half would be a good lunch and we should have a set time to stop. Also, coms would be nice, but that wasn’t really anyone’s fault…
Gameplay That was without a doubt, the best gameplay a home game has ever had. Simply outstanding. From my perspective, the players put out a heck of a job. Thunder did a good job on that one “turf war” game in keeping Spidey and I in a constant firefight. Perhaps next time, the rule should be included that contested spawns cannot be used, but for that time, we did what we knew we could. But even with that, Spidey kept Thunder concentrated, I couldn’t even see Thunder, so I concentrated on giving long range oversight to the RV turfs. It seemed that Ecthelion kept our rear well defended and Predator did a good job of holding off Caesar. That one knife attempt, Caesar, was amazing. That was outstanding teamwork on Tans side, outstanding effort on Green. Overall, I had no issues with the gameplay beyond planning.
Teamwork For the first time, everyone worked as a perfectly coordinated team. Thank you everyone for listening to me ramble on about tactics and orders. I know it’s alot, but you guys listened, and executed it to the best of your ability. As a squad leader, I could’ve asked for no more. You guys moved well and kept up decent communication. I felt no issues with team movement, or with team firing. Spidey performed excellently as CO when he needed to be, and I would not hesitate depending on him as XO. Thunder performed excellently, as I stated, as medic. I now think that perhaps we should consider Ecthelion for LMG gunner as he seemed to do the role well and we have Sev as an SDM. Caesar performed well as a rifleman. I believe he is well placed as well.
Favorite Moments There were alot. Some of my favorites were just patrolling, you guys did excellently and kept your squads informed of movements and contact, from what I saw. I loved that one “road ambush” game where Predator, Spidey, and I had to duck down out of sight… that whole game was really fun. I also loved how everyone quickly got the hang of covering their own sectors of fire and how to properly rally.
Final Comments With better planning, these home games could be excellent. I think we should do them more often. Though everyone caught the grasp on the tactics I was trying to explain, we need to practice them more so that they’re more coordinated. More often than not, I had to say it twice. Also, noise. Alot of the time, players were talking on the move or yelling orders. Though the movies show soldiers loudly calling orders, they don’t do that in the military. I have no issue with it if you’re the CO or calling out enemy movement, but on the movement, silence and discipline win the day. I loved how everyone was slowly catching onto that. Also, much of the time, when people stop moving, they tend to stand in place… For the love of Pete, if you stop moving, drop to a knee. It saves lives, guys. Finally, one thing we all missed… Ajax and Sev!!! Missed ya, buds. We’ll catch you on Sunday! Overall, I had an excellent day. Thank you to Sev, Caesar, and Spidey for hosting! God Bless!

Ahem my name is Deathstroke Abbot you did it too! :0 On another more useful note. I thought the day went very well. I got some great medic training in and can see myself fitting in to that position very well. I liked the training we did and if we had Ajax with us I think it would have gone even better! But Spidey got some good leadership training in seeing as he may very well have to lead us if we get separated from Ajax in anyway. Good to get comfortable being in charge. My gun operated much better then expected and I am glad I made the purchase.
