To become an official member of this squad you must meet some basic requirements. List is subject to change, additions and amendments will be added in the future.
REQUIRED #1 A functioning gun (preferably an AEG) #2 The Team Camo/gear (woodland BDUs/ tan gear/eventual helmet ownership) #3 A radio/walkie talkie (so we can have communications on field) #4 A good attitude and commitment to the team
NOT REQUIRED (but highly recommended) #1 A sidearm #2 16 years or older #3 Load bearing gear (i.e. Chest rig/Plate Carrier) #4 Midcap Magizines (if you intend on running with us at MilSims you will need these)
These requirements are intended for those who wish to become "official" members of our squad, if you do not meet these requirements but still wish to play you may become an "honorary" member and run with us when we play casual games (i.e. when we go to Kalamazoo airsoft or kizzyfield).
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE AN OFFICIAL MEMBER TO BE PART OF THIS FORUM. Everyone is welcome to join the forum.

#3 question. is a tacticool vest permitted?

We'll be talking that over the following weeks. Edit: Also, a good chest rig (on ebay or anywhere) can be had for even less than $20 anyway, so if we went that route, piece of cake.

Vests will hold mags with the best of them.

Not comfortably though...
EDIT: Guys, I moved this thread to Team rules and regs as it fits better here.

I like the simplicity of the "Requirements". You really don't need much more than those.

More are on the way, though. Such as camo requirement, gear requirements, and the like. Uniformity is a necessity of being a team. But I think they should be as simple as possible.

Now I know I said this in the OP but I wanted to stress that if you just wanted to play with us on a casual level then these requirements are not as important (but still recommended); if, however, you intend on running with us at MilSims we expect almost all of these requirements to be met, as MilSims are much more "hardcore" then your typical speedsoft match.

The requirements are good but I don't have a radio or a green set of BDU. All I have is DCU.

I have a second two way radio that is decent, that one person could probably use.

And I think Spidey is buying a Baofeng, so if you'd be ok with it, Ecthelion could always use it.

Yeah I'd be completely fine with someone else using the other radio just so long as they don't lose it.
