So I'm thinking about getting a new gun. If it works for me to be the teams SDM/sniper (or one of them), I just wanted some opinions on a good SDM gun for me to look at (hopefully not on the super expensive side). I just wanted to pick your brains since some of have a lot more XP with airsoft sites and buying and selling. *said with a particular look in Abbot's and Caesar's directions*
So......What say you?

I'd say one to look into would by the CYMA M14. They're relatively inexpensive and have alot of room for any upgrades. The V7 GB in it is pretty reliable, I've heard. Others would be the A&K SR25 (or SR25K), a SVD AEG, etc. But I would suggest a NATO weapon as that seems to be the direction of the team.

I can't really help you here. Although I have looked at many M4s and various pistols, the only sniper gun I know to any extent is the JG Bar 10.

But I believe an AEG would perform better in these circumstances. Unless it's that svd.

I was saying that the SVD would be the only spring gun I would recommend, if not an AEG.

Looks good. I'd say go for it. But the team may actually go with NATO style guns. I'm not sure if they'll mind or not. I'd contact Ajax. Also, we may put money (with you) into an LMG.

Before anyone decides to go out and invest money in a new gun, I think it would be wise to wait until the team decides what kind of weapon platform we will use. Just my own personal opinion.
