No no. The First Avenger claims all responsibility in this regard.

Capt. America is wearing long underwear too...
In reality, comic arguments are kinda a matter of taste. The only superhero movie I actually love is the Dark Knight, so I side with DC, but only purely for one movie. Marvel films are made for one reason: to make money. There is no plot, and if there is it is very shallow, the characters are all poorly acted (with the exception of a few), and not much of a budget is put into it. Now that they are running out of films to make, they have resourced to the corny ones, such as Ant Man. Films where they attempt to disguise the corniness by having the characters make fun of it... "Is it too late to change the name?" says Ant Man. Sorry, I'm not buying it. This is one viewer who will not be fooled by Hollywoods attempt to sell films with no real stories or lessons or even effort put into it. It's cliche. He's told that if he wants to defend his family, he must fight... but if you look at the film "Interstellar", the main character is told that if he wants to save his family, he must, in a sense, fight for them... In my opinion, "Is it too late to not make the film?" If they can't make a good story, don't make one at all.
The Dark Knight had the best screenwriters in Hollywood today, in my opinion: Christopher and Jonathan Nolan. The two of them can write a story to surpass anyone in Hollywood. The Dark Knight presents a story of a man aspiring to something greater. The batman is shown as, to quote Bruce Wayne, "A symbol. The Batman could be anyone". He uses his greatest fear to put fear into his enemies. Like all superhero movies, there has to be some advantage for the main character (just as there is for every person in real life). The advantage for Bruce is his money. This may be one reason "the Batman" could not be anybody, but I still differ and say that it was simply his advantage, his resource. Someone else's resource could be perhaps their perseverance or something similar.
Other arguments are it is "too dark". To quote the movie once more, and from the mouth of Harvey Dent, "The night is always darkest just before the dawn". Darkness is necessary for their to be a dawn. There is no Easter without Good Friday. It is up to viewer discretion whether the film presents too much darkness, but in my opinion, it is balanced.
This is why I side with DC, for the reason they hired a good director and good writers and good actors, perhaps for the sake of making money, but they still put in effort.

Let me moderate this thread. We do not need multiple paragraphs on why any person chooses either side.
Who says that Captain America wears long underwear?

Pretty sure this is a discussion thread. My side of the discussion can be as long or as short as I want it, granted it adds to the discussion, and it did. You may be a mod, but I am the administrator. Yo soy el jefe! Uh huh.

Don't question my authority, junior Admin. All that picture did was show us that Captain America wears a shirt, pants, and belt.

Come at me, global mod! No, paragraphs are totally applicable. Those are totally connected. Not a chance it's tucked in.

Rule #5: Do not argue with the mods. PM them if you have any questions or arguments to make. Is that plain enough? Everyone is going to say that what he is wearing in the picture is not underwear. And Ecthelion, since when were we referring to the old pictures, DC or Marvel? Your point was that they are not like that anymore.
