Right! Like Tokyo. What is more realistic than new york city?

Well Batman did visit some foreign place so that can compare to New York, and Gotham was based off some USA place.

But it was set in a real place. Spiderman was.

Actually, Batman is technically set in New York, too. You see, New York was actually called Gotham for a while, and that explains why Gotham city always looks so much like New York. AND it only goes to show his superiority, that usually doesn't have to kill the villains to win. Not to down Spider-man though. Like I said, The Amazing Spider-man 2 is the best Marvel movie yet. And that is including the Avengers. The Amazing Spiderman 2 is better than the Avengers, but is in close competition with Thor.

No, just leaves them to endanger more people again. It's messed up. I will give you points on the Gotham thing though. Looked it up, and found that that New York was indeed "referred to" as Gotham.

Ras Al Ghul is dead. Joker is in jail for the rest of his life. Bane is dead. Talia is dead. And Two Face, the only person Batman ever killed, is dead. All people that worked for the villains are in jail for the rest of their lives. There is no way they are a danger.

What if they escape?

They wont, and if they ever did which is not likely they would be caught by Batman again.

No he wouldn't. Batman is still too busy congratulating himself for apprehending them in the first place.

Actually, 85 percent of the time he's taking the blame for everything. As for villains escapes, It's pretty clear that they won't be coming back. At least in The Dark Knight series, the bad guys never "actually survived"! Contrary to most Marvel movies, all the villains that died are dead for good!

You forget at the end of the Dark Knight III, Batman retires. How can he save Gotham if he is off some place vacationing?

Ha ha ha! Good point. But, still, the villains could be permanently confined or they are dead. End of story. (On the other hand, I can't believe that villainy would end while Batman is retiring)

If they did break out, they would be a danger to everyone again, and all those villains that died were not dead do to the effort of Batman. In the comics, the Joker breaks out over and over again, terrorizing all of Gotham. I think that he is still a threat, even while in jail.

Well, they have Robin, the new batman. Batman's retirement plan: #1: Save Gotham #2: Save Catwoman #3: Go somewhere undercover #4: Leave Gotham another Batman (Robin) #5: Vacation like never before. Because he's batman. Or he was. Besides, he earned it.

Great plan I'd say.
